The wheels are out this year at SPARKcon!

Raleigh Rickshaws
We have Raleigh Rickshaws coming to and fro throughout the festival AND carrying folks back and forth between SPARKcon and BugFest.

Skaters
Skate Exhibitions every other hour Saturday and Sunday afternoons on Martin St! Quarter-pipe action!

Gravity Racers
Sunday afternoon at1:30 pm on Fayetteville St…it’s Soap Box Derby cars!! They get some initial momentum from a quarter-pipe and then off they go down the freshly art-painted street! Fun spectacle all ages will enjoy watching.

And the following aren’t wheelSPARK events per se, but they got wheels so we gotta spread the love:

• Art-on-the-Move Buses! – on display on Hargett and Davie St. See the latest local artwork chosen to dress our city busses!

• Graffiti Box Trucks! – Saturday on Martin St from 1p-5p see live graffiti demos from some of Raleigh’s finest (graffiti artists, that is), as they completely make over multiple box trucks.

• PODS Art Installations (they were on wheels to get there, right?) – See beautiful and creative art installations designed by local artists to fit specifically into the interior of a POD
