Branding and Logos

Writing SPARK names: The first thing to remember is that “SPARK” is always all caps, and “con” is always attached to SPARK (one word) with lowercase letters.

Correct: SPARKcon

Wrong: SparkCon, SPARKCON

SPARK names are written with “SPARK” all caps and the SPARK name all lowercase.

Correct: fashionSPARK, artSPARK, circusSPARK, etc

Wrong: FashionSPARK, Fashion SPARK, etc

Website URL: Each SPARK can use a short link to their SPARKs page on the website. Instead of writing out the

full URL…http://www.SPARKcon.com/SPARKS/musicSPARK

shorten the link to http://SPARKcon.com/musicSPARK

VERY IMPORTANT!

Promotion Materials (ANYTHING YOU PRINT): ALL PRINTED MATERIALS must be sent to Sarah Powers and approved by her one week before anything goes to print. We recommend that SPARKs finalize all print needs by September 1^st.

• ALL logos and the sponsor bar from print materials can be found on the organizers corner of the website: MUST use these!
• Use full SPARKcon logo with dates
• You can also use individual SPARK logo somewhere on the document if you choose
  • ALWAYS include the website in a prominent place www.sparkcon.com
  • download the appropriate width sponsor bar for your print material
  • place the sponsor bar as a footer at the bottom of your piece
  • do not enlarge or significantly reduce the art or it will print poorly
  • do not change the artwork
  • your piece must include the text: SPARKcon is a program of VAE
  • the only change allowed is if you wish to replace the QR CODE with a different approved  and provided QR CODE that would more directly relate to your event
  • the artwork is designed so the drawn border will fall 1/8″ to 1/4″ inside the edge of the page. Please make sure to place it appropriately so everything is inside the printing area
