Sunday’s Fine at SPARKcon

It’s the fourth and final day of SPARKcon but we’re hardly slowing down.  Just a few events to note:

Self replicating manufacturing robots, 3D scanners, lasers.  Swing by your friendly neighborhood Fab Labs Carolinas trailer and learn to MAKE.

After you’ve hit the Fab Lab, jump over to the Main Stage and experience dance in new and exciting ways.  Classes include The Nia Dance Technique, Discovering Bellydance and a 2-hour Zumba Party.

The ultimate in Shop Local, peruse bazaarSPARK for handcrafted jewelry, clothing and pottery.

Four days of all local, all free music cumulates at the Music Stage with performances from Black Dog Syndrome, Soulstic 7th, Kennebec and others.

Yesterday was a fantastic SPARKcon day but we were just getting WARMED UP!

All SIXTEEN SPARKs have events on today’s schedule. There is something for everyone, but here are some featured programs.

The fashionSPARK Fashion Show, will be in it’s 6th year this September. It is the largest and most popular annual fashion event in the Triangle! fashionSPARK, part of the SPARKcon potluck of creativity, showcases the area’s top local fashion talent!

Stick around after the fashion show and see the action!  Friday, 9pm on the main stage.

Camera Phone Photo Projection @ The Mahler

Snap it, then see it!  Upload your camera phone pics and we’ll project them at The Mahler.

Upload your pictures  and tag them with #phonespark.  The images need to be taken with camera phones.  No Cannon’s here.  Look for your shots at The Mahler Friday and Saturday from 8p-10p.

Cannon (and other camera) images can be uploaded here.  We like those too.
