ideaSPARK call for talent/speakers is live (you can find it here), so everyone should start looking for potential speakers and point them to: http://www.sparkcon.com/ideaSPARK to submit a proposal!
We are looking for “celebrity” speakers (aka high profile, local people who have written books, have great ideas worth spreading, or people who will generally draw a large crowd and/or the press).
We are also looking for celebrity guests (aka those who will bring an influential crowd with them or who can make things happen).
In an effort to recruit talent for the event, we are encouraging potential speakers to attend PechaKucha on June 17th in Durham to get an idea of what a presentation is like and the format so that they’re better prepared for September. If you have anyone in mind, encourage them to attend the PechaKucha event on Thursday, June 17th at Relevance in Durham.
We are looking for SPARKcon/ideaSPARK literature, calling cards, and/or flyers to hand out at the June 17th event to promote ideaSPARK.
Updates: We have gained Yelp as a media sponsor & our first submission has already been submitted by Deborah Ross.
