When you post notes for a specific SPARK, make sure to put the name of that SPARK in the title of your post. That way, when they show up on the general feed on the main page, it’s immediately apparent which SPARK the notes are for.

ideaSPARK April 26th Meeting Notes

Attending: Carlee, Cyn, & Janet

Venue: Kings has agreed to host the event on the night of September 16th (Yay! We’re really excited about this!)

Sponsors: Lonerider beer will provide the beer. We’re looking for wine sponsors (maybe “Wine(Accessorized)” or “Wine Authorities”)

Presenters:
Focus on more art, theater, design, music, etc in the presentations.
Seeking more young adults/children to present.
Seeking “high-profile” presenters with really great ideas.

Volunteers: Will need volunteers for photography, audio/video recording, emcee, talent coordination

Next meeting: Monday, May 3rd 6:30pm at Crabtree Tavern

SPARKcon/Visual Art Exchange submitted a video for the award, you can view on the Triangle Community Foundation voting page. Voting opens today and will remain open through next Wednesday, April 28 at 11:59pm. You can vote as many times as you want so vote often!

Triangle Community Foundation has chosen five finalists for the 2010 What Matters Innovation Award, a $5,000 prize for an organization using innovative strategies to address growth and diversity in the Triangle.  Each finalist will produce a brief digital video to tell the story of their work.  The public will choose the award winner through an online voting competition on http://www.trianglecf.org April 21–28.”
