EVENT DESCRIPTION

In celebration of local cocktail prowess SPARKcon has been inspired to invite all bars to enter their best in the sipSPARK ‘Shake Down’…
The contest will be comprised of a three-heat event culminating in the crowning of one bartender as sipSPARK’s best sip’tender.

A bartender must be sponsored ($50 entry fee) by the bar they work and fill out the application form in full, to enter. Due to limited space, a restricted number of contestants will be selected to compete. The winning bartender will receive a trophy for display at their sponsoring establishment. All bartenders will be judged on:
Taste (1 to 44 proof) sip to sip – the tastiest!
Presentation (1 to 33 proof) look of drink and bartender’s drink knowledge.
Originality (1 to 24 proof) overall creative mixology.
Possible top score: 101 proof for each round of drinks.
