Last year I stood in the audience in awe of the beautiful designs that came down the runway. This year I had the opportunity to walk in the show. Next year I’m hoping to have my designs onstage as well! Having been in both positions I have to say I wish the show was a bit longer this year. It was really great seeing the tattoo and body art last year as well as the fashion designs. I heard that the designers had to cut back on their collections/models this year. I would like to have seen more from all! Also, the response I received from friends in the audience was that they wished the runway had been longer….then more of the crowd could have seen more of the details in each piece…they thought it went by too quickly to really be able to appreciate some of the amazing pieces & the time that went into each piece.
Great feedback, thank you! It’s so great to see people transition from the audience to being a participant! We had two last minute cancellations this year, including the body artist. This shortened the program, but regardless, the incredible leadership of Allison Beale rolled with it elegantly and professionally.
